CCEA AS/A2 Further

Further Mathematics can only be taken as a fourth subject. It should only be considered by students who are genuinely enthusiastic about Mathematics. Topics encountered in A LEVEL Mathematics are developed to a greater depth and some new ideas are introduced. Students who have studied Further Mathematics will have a big advantage over others in the first year of most Mathematical, Scientific and Engineering degree courses. Further Mathematics should be considered seriously by those contemplating degrees/careers in:-Mathematics or Physics

Engineering , Computation and Oxford and Cambridge in any of the above.

Consists of six modules Pure Modules F1, F2 and F3, Mechanics modules M2 and M3 and Statistics module S2
