Exams success for Friends' pupils placed in NI top three

Pupils within Friends’ School have achieved outstanding results in their recent public examinations by being placed in the top three throughout Northern Ireland.

At A-level, Lucy Mulholland, taught by Paula McPoland, was joint 1st in Art and Design. Ben Spiers, taught by Claire Kirkpatrick and Zoe Hughes was first in Mathematics, with Andrew Joyce, taught by Hollie O’Neill and Bill Lonsdale 3rd.  David Kearns, taught by Greg Jackson and Kathryn Archbold, was placed 3rd in French.

At GCSE, Grace Malcomson, taught by Robert Murray, was joint 1st in Art and Design; Pippa Dugan, taught by Sue Barron, was joint 1st in GCSE German; Rachel Acheson, taught by Errol Martin, was joint first in ICT; and Cameron Watson (pictured), taught by Robert Murray, was 1st in Moving Image Arts.  Zoe Dickey, taught by Greg Jackson, was joint 2nd in French and Louise Treacy, taught by Kathryn Archbold, was joint 3rd; Grace Malcomson, taught by Gillian Clegg was joint 3rd in Spanish. Ross Little, who completed GCSE in Year 11 and was taught by Claire Kirkpatrick, was 3rd in Mathematics.

     Friends’ pupil Zoe Dickey, taught by Greg Jackson was joint 2nd in Northern Ireland in GCSE French.

Friends’ pupil Louise Treacy, taught by Kathryn Archbold was joint 3rd in Northern Ireland in GCSE French.

Friends’ pupil Pippa Dugan, taught by Sue Barron was joint 1st in Northern Ireland in GCSE German.

Friends’ pupil Grace Malcomson, taught by Gillian Clegg, was joint 3rd in Northern Ireland in GCSE Spanish.

CCEA 4

Friends’ pupil Rachel Acheson, taught by Errol Martin was joint 1st in Northern Ireland in GCSE ICT.

CCEA 5
