Year 13 pupils Mark Campbell, Gareth Nelson, Joe Murphy and Clara Conn who recently received their Gold Crest awards for participating in the Sentinus R+D (Research and Design) programme. Sentinus R+D partners schools and companies to work on an engineering problem over the academic year. This year Friends’ school worked with QUB Electrical Engineering department to design an interactive display for the Power Laboratory. The display will be manufactured over the summer months and will be in place for the QUB Open Days in September.
