There are a number of ways in which you could make a donation towards the work of Friends' School.
All donations are gratefully received and are acknowledged in the school's Annual Report.
For further information please feel free to contact Tom Hendry, the Bursar on 028 9266 2156 (thendry838@friends.lisburn.ni.sch.uk).
Gift Aid
The value of a gift to school can (if you are a tax payer) be increased if you complete a Gift Aid form,
by enabling the school to reclaim income tax from HMRC, without additional cost to the donor. Forms can be obtained from the school office, can be
emailed to you or downloaded from our website. There are tax advantages for higher rate taxpayers. Details may be obtained from the Bursar.
How to Donate
Single Donations
We are please to accept one-off donations by cash or cheque, Cheques should be payable to Friends' School Lisburn
Regular Support
A commitment to make regular donations for a specified period of time helps us budget effectively. This may be accomplished by completing a direct
debit form or by arranging a Standing Order
Payroll giving
If your employer operates a payroll giving scheme, any donation to the school is automatically deducted from your gross salary before you pay tax,
so higher rate taxpayers need not remember to reclaim relief through self assessment.
Company giving
Companies can donate a gross figure to the school and claim tax relief on charitable donations when preparing corporation tax returns.
