Presentations are given by a variety of speakers, for example, a local Environmental Health Officer and Financial Advisors and all offer career advice during their presentations. The students attend courses at CAFRE and careers and further education advice is also included. The Home Economics Department have a careers notice board and information regarding careers is displayed in the class rooms. The subject provides a basis for those seeking employment in a wide range of careers, such as Industry, Commerce, Education and the Health and Social Services.
