A Level Results 2019

Congratulations to all of our pupils who received A2 and AS results today. Everyone in School is delighted with what has been achieved, and pupils and their parents can be pleased with the high standards attained.

Oxford and Cambridge University

A very pleasing 88% of pupils gained 3 or more grades at A*-C at A-level, with 46% of entries at A*-A, and 77% at A*-B, and 38 pupils achieved 3 or more grades at A*/A.

With so many success stories, it is difficult to highlight individual cases, but special mention goes to Louise Treacy, who gained 4 A*s and 1 A, Joshua Lindsay who received 3 A*s and 1 A, and Kathryn Allen, Lea Carson, Zoe Dickey, Emma Greer, Taylor Lunney, Alannah Millar, Benjamin Mulholland and Zoe Totten, all of whom achieved 3 A* grades.

At AS level, the overall performance was also pleasing, with a total of 26 pupils achieving at least 3 A grades, of whom 10 gained a very impressive total of 4 As.

Best wishes to our leavers well as they move on to the next stage of their lives, and we look forward to further success next year for everyone who took AS examinations.

And last but not least, thank you to all of the staff who worked so hard to help pupils achieve this success.
