Junior Science Club

The Junior Science Club meets fortnightly usually on a Tuesday at 12.45pm. A group of enthusiastic young scientists gets together with some Science staff and some helpful senior pupils, for half an hour to carry out a range of different experiments.

Popular themes include ‘Forensic Science’ and ‘Special Effects’ and messy experiments, such as making slime,  the volcanic eruption, foam fire extinguisher, alien blood and fire writing, which are firm favourites. Less ‘explosive’ practical activities such investigating electricity, growing crystal gardens and investigating magnetism have been thoroughly enjoyed by all.
