FSL crowned overall winners of the Stock Market Challenge Belfast Final, 2018.
On Tuesday 13th March, four Year 11 students from Friends’ School Lisburn travelled to Belfast to compete in the Belfast regional final of the Stock Market Challenge.

On December 7th, the Young Enterprise company, 'Branch', attended St George's Market for The Big Market. They sold their wooden engraved world map phone cases which help support clean water projects in Uganda. It was a successful day in which the team enjoyed talking to members of the public, professional business people and also Young Enterprise judges.
On Wednesday 22nd November 2017, Sixth Form girls attended an event held at W5 in partnership with Ulster University Business School.
University of Ulster held a Lower Sixth Economics Conference on Wednesday 13th April. Pupils arrived to tea, coffee and scones before settling down to listen to some very interesting lectures on Market Failure, the NHS - is it affordable?, UK income and wealth inequality and UK fiscal policy. Pupils found the content very relevant to their AS course.
