Success for Friends' School in the Annual Schools' Arts Competition
Friends' School enjoyed much success at the recent 36th Annual Schools' Arts Award.
At the awards ceremony at the Island Arts Centre they were placed 1st overall in the Short Story category, 1st in the Drama category for their Junior School Production of 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory', 1st overall in the Visual Art category and 2nd overall in the Poetry category. There was individual recognition for Lara Poole Y.9 and Clare Grieve Y.8 who were awarded Outstanding Individual Awards for their excellent contributions to the Poetry and Short Story competitions respectively.
